Mighty Azraf and his beloved is a male Peri, a youthful prince of red Peris, his name is Algul (from persian meaning “red flower”) or Al-Pari (pers. “highest peri” or “red peri”), according to the oral perso-arabic tale that was related to me, he is the most beautiful creature in the all Worlds (His name and looks were created and by me).
Peri - in Persian mythology are the winged supernatural beings known for their sensual and seductive beauty and also for their sorcery and magical powers.
